Science experiments

Our question was- Can we lift an ice cube with a piece of string?

We tried to poke a hole in it using scissor but it was too hard said Emalyn's group. We ended up breaking the ice cube.

We tried putting the string on it and pushing it down and we counted to 20 but it kept slipping off said Jame's group.

We tried to put selotape on the cube but it didn't work because it was too slippery said Lise group. We will try Mr O'Neill special tape.

Bailey FD group tried to put the string around it and pull it. It didn't work because it kept melting.

Olivia's group -we tried to tie the string on the ice cube but it came loose and dropped off.
It melted quicker as it got wetter.

Benjamin and Tino put the string on the top of the ice cube then poured some salt on top and it stuck.
