Today we played with clean colourful balloons.They were soft and smooth. One floated up to the heat pump. The bouncy balloons popped when Mrs McDonald stamped on them.

Humpty Dumpty

We experimented how Humpty Dumpty could stop himself from cracking.


The egg fell down on the floor and broke into pieces. -Himanot



We got some blocks and Humpty Dumpty fell down and he hurt himself. -Timora



We put the egg on the Lego wall and nothing happened when we put a sponge underneath it. -Brooklyn



We pushed the egg and it broke. Then we put tape around it so it didn't break. -Tino




Humpty Dumpty fell off the bricks and then he cracked. -Emalyn



We put some Sellotape on the egg to not make it break. When we took the Sellotape off and we dropped it, it cracked. -Ella



Ngaikiha pushed down the egg and it broke. The hard-boiled egg didn't break but the runny one did. -James



I cracked the egg by pushing it from the top of the lego mountain so that the children could see -Ngaikiha




We made a tower and knocked down Humpty Dumpty and he went "crack"! -Benjamin

Porridge for a healthy breakfast

Tino is stirring the porridge. It came out of the microwave.

We are learning about playing the beat with our instruments with Mr Frank.
Everyone has to listen and play when their instrument is called.
It's great fun and we make an awesome sound.

Mr Whippy

On Wednesday 7th September Mr Whippy came to St Mary's School.
We chose our ice-creams. Some people had sprinkles on top.
It was yummy.

We are waiting our turn. We are so lucky that we are room 1 because we got to get our ice-cream first. Mrs McDonald got a huge one.

I had some ice-cream from Mr Whippy. The ice-cream was sweet and in a cone. I sat and ate my ice-cream with my friends.
















These ice-creams are so good.
