The bumble bee fell in the smelly yucky water andhiw bottom was sticking up in the stinky yucky water. That's where he was resting. and he jumped up to do his work and he went to the hive and he needed to look after the babies and the queen bee.

Waitangi School celebrations


Mr O'Neill is introducing our Maori people and explaining what will happen in our school Waitangi celebration.




We are waiting to be welcomed by our Tangata whenua.



After the welcome we can walk onto the Marae


Mr O'Neill is telling us about the stars on our New Zealand flag. It is the southern cross.




Olivia has Maori ancestry.




Here are Bailey S, Colbie-Rosie, Olivia, Charlotte, Marik, Bailey F, Benjamin, Teddy who were born in New Zealand.



Rica, Jana Benjamin and Marik are from the Filipino culture.




Teddy has Ethiopia ancestry.




Charlotte has Scottish origins.




Bailey F and Charlotte have Irish connections.

Room One Treaty







We all signed our Class Treaty after learning about the Treaty of Waitangi that were promises made between the Maori people and British people. We also read a story about children who made up their tree house treaty because they were fighting.
